Why a blog tho?

Honestly, we've been building games and helping event organizers for years now (our parent company Loquiz has been in the gamification business since 2002!), and we realized we've learned quite a lot along the way. Things that could actually help other people who are trying to make their events more engaging.

Like, did you know that the best icebreaker isn't just about the game itself, but about timing? Run it too early when people are still finding their seats and checking emails, and it falls flat. Run it right after the first coffee break when everyone's caffeinated but not yet deep in "meeting mode" - thats the sweet spot.

What you'll find here

We're planning to share stuff like:

  • Practical tips for running team games (the things that actually matter, not just theory)
  • Behind the scenes looks at how we design games
  • Stories from real events - what worked, what flopped, what surprised us
  • Ideas for HR folks, teachers, and event companies

We're not gonna pretend to be some corporate thought leadership blog. We'll keep it real, share what we actually know, and hopefully save you from some of the mistakes we've made along the way.

Quick intro to our games

If you haven't tried our platform yet - it's pretty simple actually. No apps to download, no complicated setup. People just scan a QR code with their phones and they're in the game. We have everything from classic stuff like Tic Tac Toe and Rock Paper Scissors (but multiplayer team versions) to AI-powered quiz games where you can generate questions about literally any topic.

The whole point is to make it as easy as possible for you to run something fun without spending hours on preparation.

Let's connect

We genuinly want to hear from you guys. What kind of topics would help you? What are your biggest challenges when organizing team activities? Drop us a message or join our Discord - link is in the footer.

Alright, enough rambling for the first post. Next time we'll get into something more practical - how to actually run your first team game without it being awkward.

Stay tuned!
